Since 1986, the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce has promoted and fostered the development of leadership in the greater Sioux Falls community. Leadership Sioux Falls is a program designed to meet the community's need for active participation of informed and dedicated community leaders.

Leadership Sioux Falls is one of more than 1,000 community leadership programs in the United States. Curriculum and other program specifics are overseen by the Leadership Sioux Falls Executive Committee.

Each year, curriculum is developed with the idea of creating an integrated, total experience for participants. The topics change as the issues, challenges and opportunities of the community change. However, all sessions are designed to be highly interactive, stimulating and thought provoking. Participants are also expected to share their unique experiences and learn from one another. Leadership Sioux Falls uses the community as its classroom as sessions are held at various locations in the community.

The program is open to all people who live or work in the Sioux Falls metro area. Individuals from all segments of the community are encouraged to apply. If you are a community-minded, committed citizen and have an interest if shaping our community's future, Leadership Sioux Falls is for you.
